From a spiral notebook whose cover is a colorful, crystalline photomicrograph of DNA, dated 4/29/97. Written mostly in one sitting, it takes up the entire notebook, plus the reverse side of many pages. Working title was “Oden, Adjust.”
Instead of posting it here, I have written a program to slowly display the piece at a rate of 1 character-per-hour, on its own dedicated site. ”Function, Oden” will thus take about 11 years to completely reveal itself.
